The Exchange Club of New Canaan is kicking off its annual Christmas Tree sale at Kiwanis Park this Friday, November 29th. This year marks the Club’s fifty second year running the annual event, which raises funds for a variety of charitable organizations in New Canaan and nearby communities.

New Canaan High School Boys Ice Hockey players will challenge some of the Rams’ past stars during the 40th Annual Larry Tomaselli New Canaan Alumni Game. The Alumni Game is a wonderful way for New Canaan youth hockey players and families to support the New Canaan High School Boys Hockey Program.

The New Canaan Museum & Historical Society is embarking on an ambitious art project –  a community portrait comprised of what will be thousands of photographs of residents, as well as some iconic buildings and places in Town.

World-famous author, environmentalist, and activist, Bill McKibben, will speak about his recently published book, “Falter: Has the Human Game Begun to Play Itself Out?” at Saxe Middle School on November 11, at 7:30 pm. McKibben is one of the earliest and most well-respected voices on climate change. His groundbreaking 1989 book, “The End of Nature,” was the first to alert a general audience about global warming.
