Karl Chevrolet is hosting the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Pre-Launch Tour for ONE DAY ONLY – Tuesday, November 26th, from 11am-7pm. This is the all-new mid-engine Corvette C8’s first appearance in Connecticut and is well ahead of the car’s official start of production in Q1 2020.
There is NO COST to attend, but advance registration (www.corvettec8event.com) is suggested as we do expect a big turnout. Food, refreshments and door prizes will be available. We are looking to partner with as many New Canaan Businesses as possible for this event, so if you have an idea, please reach out to Leo Karl III at lkarl@karldirect.com or Danielle LaValle at dlavalle@karldirect.com.
On Thursday, November 26, 2019, the highly anticipated 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will make an exclusive appearance at Karl Chevrolet before it goes on sale. This event will give enthusiasts an up-close look at the first-ever production mid-engine Corvette – offering a new standard of design, performance, technology and craftsmanship.
The event will include a hands-on look at the new Corvette as well as numerous interactive displays. Vehicle specialists will host customers interested in learning more about the new mid-engine supercar, display customizable parts (seats, wheels, accessories, etc) and teach people how to personalize their own Corvette.
“This exclusive tour gives Corvette enthusiasts the opportunity to engage with the all-new 2020 Corvette Stingray in their own town before it officially hits showroom floors,” said Brian Sweeney, Chevrolet U.S. Vice President. “We designed the tour with fans in mind and are thrilled for them to be some of the first to see the mid-engine Corvette at their local dealership.”
This one-of-a-kind fan experience is fitting for the first-ever production mid-engine Corvette, a vehicle that invented the American sports car segment when Chevy debuted the first generation in 1953. This Next Generation, the eighth, builds upon and redefines Corvette’s legacy.
“Our team is excited to host the Corvette C8’s first appearance in Connecticut,” said Leo Karl III, President of Karl Chevrolet. “We have a fun day planned, including food and refreshments as well as some great door prizes we will be awarding. In addition, as a core value of our dealership’s culture, we will be asking attendees to consider supporting one of three local charities: Our local Food Bank, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program, or Filling in the Blanks. Our company has supported each of these over the years and we have chosen this occasion to draw more attention to the good work they each accomplish in our community.”
There is no cost to attend. Advanced registration is suggested to ease congestion and pre-register for door prizes. Karl Chevrolet has made arrangements to move the majority of current inventory off-site for the day to allow for convenient on-site parking for guests attending this event.
The tour, happening concurrently on the East and West Coasts, will stop at approximately 125 select dealerships across the U.S. following the reveal in July 2019 and running through the start of retail production in early 2020.
