In the war against drugs, opioids are winning.
Led by an expert panel, which also includes two young people in recovery, Athlete, Merit Scholar, Suburban Junkie: Protecting our Kids from the Opioid Epidemic will tell New Canaan what the community needs to know about this latest threat to local children.
The panel discussion and interactive presentation will take place Wednesday, Jan. 13, at New Canaan Town Hall, Town Meeting Room. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the program will run from 7– 8:30. Students in grades 7 and up are encouraged to attend with their families.
