On July 8th come and enjoy the magic of the midsummer night at the Nature Center. With the frog chorus singing softly and the warm balmy breezes of July, this night hike will inspire all ages! Join our Naturalists as we search for woodland creatures (wiggly worms & aquatic amphibians) and other enchanted mysteries of the evening.
Program will include a guided night hike throughout the Nature Center grounds and some refreshing lemonade to stay cool on a hot summer night. We will wrap up the evening with the opportunity to delight in the awe-inspiring beauty of our meadows aglow with the soft light of 1,000+ fireflies!
Please no flashlights – for safety, staff will have emergency lights. Come dressed for the night weather & able to be outdoors in the dark for at least 1 hour. Check in at Visitor Center Front Desk.
Rain or shine.
This night hike regularly sells out, so be sure to sign up early!
