New Canaan will be hopping on Sunday May 22nd! The day starts out at Waveny for Caffeine and Carburetors starting at 8:00am. When C & C ends at 11:00 head in to town where the Pop Up Park will be transformed into a fragrant, floral oasis for gardening enthusiasts to visit. Explore some of the finest local landscape architects, organizations, florists and artisanal purveyors. The glorious market will be filled with fresh flowers, plants, herbs, bulbs, seeds, gardening books, equipment and accessories. Proceeds from the Flower market will benefit The New Canaan Beautification League.
Starting at 1:00 pm all dog owners and lovers should head over to 21 Grove Street where Pet Pantry will be hosting New Canaan Dog Days, a FREE event for the whole community to promote pet care and rescue awareness. Face painting, caricature drawings, bouncy castle, family and pet portraits by Venture Photography, a scavenger hunt, lectures and demos, New Canaan police K9 demonstration, art activities, Q&A with dog trainers, musical sits, and dogs can go bobbing for hot dogs!
